Reporting directly to the Group HR Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
Employee & industrial relations
Skills Development: Implementation of workplace skills plan , annual reporting to TETA, and other relevant administration
Recruitment in line with company strategy and on-boarding
Assist with policy development
Administration & reporting of Employment Equity
Occupational Health & Safety
Injuries On Duty administration and reporting on Umehluko.
Relevant 3-year tertiary qualification
Minimum 5 years HR Generalist experience
In-depth ER knowledge & experience
Valid driver license & own transport
Will be required to travel between company sites.
Skills & Competencies:
Above average interpersonal communication at all levels
Must be able to work independently and under pressure
Conflict management and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of employment legislation (BCEA, EEA, LRA, SDA, OHSA)
An In-service training opportunity exist at our facility in Killarney Gardens. Successful andidates will receive in-service training for various functions in the company. Once training is complete, successful candidates may be considered for vacant positions at Killarney Gardens or our new facility in Atlantic Hills that will be opening in 2019.
